Our CHS Baseball coaching staff is leading a 4-day summer camp from June 27 through June 30, located at our own Underhill fields! To sign up, visit this link.
For the second year, the CHS Baseball Boosters board is offering optional indoor group batting practice at D-Bat Mountainside. Sessions will occur on Tuesdays from 8:30-9:30 PM, from January 3 through March 14. They will be coached by popular D-Bat instructor Pete Spadaccini. Hitting will be off tees and machines through January and into February. CHS pitchers will then be invited to deliver live pitching to the batters in February, continuing through the end of the sessions.
You will have four days to register (starting Monday, November 28 and ending Thursday, December 1). Because space is limited to 25 players, priority will be given to Seniors, then Juniors, then Sophomores, and finally Freshmen. Within those classes, priority will be first-come, first-served.
The registration link will be sent out no later than 9 AM on Monday, November 28.
We’ll notify you whether your registration was successful after the four registration days. If you have secured one of the 25 slots, you will need to submit payment within 3 days (we will include the payment link in the notification). If we don’t receive your payment within that time frame, your slot will be made available to the next person on the list (according to the earliest registration time and date), who’s in the highest priority group.
We wish there was room for everybody, and appreciate your understanding.
The cost will be $165/player, which works out to $15 per session. We unfortunately cannot offer refunds or partial pricing to players who aren’t available for all weeks.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ON OPTIONAL PARTICIPATION:
These offerings are organized by the CHS Baseball Boosters, not the CHS Baseball coaching staff. Participating in these opportunities does not determine whether your child will make the Cougar baseball team this spring. Participation has no impact on roster decisions or playing time.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
No one will be excluded from any of these workouts due to financial need. Scholarship support is available. Please contact a member of the Boosters Board to discuss; it will be confidential.

We are excited to share that Nate Berenberg, class of ’23 Infielder, has committed to Franklin & Marshall College! Congrats, Nate! We can’t wait to cheer on those Diplomats!
The days are shorter and colder, with snow inevitably on the way. That means the time has come to take down the batting cage nets at Underhill. And, since the Boosters bear sole responsibility for maintaining the cages, we’ll need parents’ help with this project.
We will be taking down the nets on Saturday, November 19, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The more volunteers we have, the faster it will go! If you can give even an hour, please sign up here.

We are excited to invite you to our annual Fall Gathering for parents, set for Sunday November 20th, from 4:00-6:00 PM, at the South Orange Elks Club.
This annual gathering serves a few purposes . . .
First and foremost, the Boosters board and CHS Baseball coaching staff will give parents of prospective players a brief overview of what they can expect from CHS Baseball throughout this upcoming year, including off-season training opportunities, upcoming events, fundraising, and more. The presentation will begin at 5:00.
We’ll also welcome our 9th grade families to the program, and it’s just a great excuse to socialize and get to know one-another!
There will be drinks and light snacks.
The cost is $10 per person, in advance or at the door. To pay in advance, use our GiveButter site. Please note that GiveButter adds a tip to your transaction. This money goes directly to GiveButter (not CHS Baseball). If you do NOT wish to add this tip, make sure to select “Other” and enter $0.
