Hello Everyone,

As of this writing we are within 2 weeks of tryouts and within 6.5 weeks of opening day. I want to thank you all for the efforts you’ve made in supporting and transporting the boys to the additional off-season activities we’ve added this year. I couldn’t be happier with the results to date and the feedback from the boys has been equally as positive.

We’ve got great news: our coaching staff has grown this year with the addition of some familiar faces as Phil Whitney and Zach Altamore have been approved as volunteer coaches. In addition, our JV Soccer Coach here at CHS, Andrew Helfrich, will also be coming on board as a volunteer coach. I am very happy to announce we’ve almost doubled our coaching staff for the upcoming season.

In addition, I would like to reiterate some of the earlier messaging regarding your help with our fundraising efforts. As we continue to emphasize player experience and player development, the fundraising efforts have an impact in ensuring that our coaching staff can continue to execute our vision for developing the boys as both baseball players and young men.

Tryouts are Friday March 6th – Sunday March 8th (We are keeping Monday March 9th open as an additional evaluation day if necessary). We need every player at each tryout. If there are conflicts, please have your son(s) let me know asap. We have approximately 65 players trying out this season, so unfortunately there will be tough choices to be made and it’s important that we get as many opportunities as possible to evaluate each player.
